One of the best things about early Fall is that I can unleash my obsession with COCKSCOMB and it takes over in my maison... in my opinion it IS the most beautiful Autumn bloom! Luckily cockscomb is readily available weekly through early October at all of our local farmers markets so I can always get my fix! I personally love the pink color but it also comes in red, orange and yellow varieties.

I love using the "end pieces" (at the stem of the bunches) in arrangements by themselves... which creates a different...but still lovely...bouquet.
This is something I would love to create...or find at a talented florist shop!

I totally agree with you girl! I especially love the little grouping of 3 mongrammed glasses on the books on the fireplace- precious. I am on my way to the LB farmers market now to get some myself! Susan at Romancing the Home
