If you are a regular visitor to RueDeEmily you will know that I have been decorating a charity event with Mademoiselle M from PrettyVisual. If you want to see the two previous posts leading up to this one click here. If you are up to speed with our little adventure you will hopefully enjoy this final post on the subject...
By Saturday evening we were really delighted that our "decorating daze" was over and the time had come to benefit (yes- pun intended) with a fun night ahead...getting dressed up... ready for the festivities with our husbands and friends. The limo began in the early evening picking up five couples.
The limo driver couldn't make it down the steep driveway of this lucky couple so they had to hike up a snowy and icy path to meet the limo at the street. They had Mademoiselle M's husband (aka... the Butler...James) to carry the wonderful cocktails they had made for our ride....
Mademoiselle M in a very artsy pose with her incredible mask!
Moi with Mademoiselle S!
Here is a pretty visual...Mdmslle. M's new shoes for the evening!
The cocktail party was held in the old part of the maison and we filled it with decorations like these...
As you entered the ballroom here is what the room looked like with our centerpieces created for the evening....
The Staff even joined in the fun!
Festive Masqueraders!
Feathers found their way everywhere we could put them....
We made sure the ladies loo looked festive too!
La Femmes at the after party.... winding down after a wonderful evening together!
The best part of the entire experience is that a tremendous amount of money was raised to assist a very worthwhile children's charity!
Happy Valentine's Day!!
