About two hours north of Chicago in the rolling hills of the Kettle Moraine lies a little slice of heaven called Monches Farm. Winding into it's bucolic setting is a treat in itself but when you arrive at the farm you are greeted by perennial and annual plants for sale in fields, garden antiques and accessories, a red barn gift store and a menagerie of birds, chickens, and chocolate labs... all presented in an "unfussy" but incredibly charming way....here is a little Monday morning tour...Part Deux tomorrow!
