Along the water's edge....

My husband and I took a walk early yesterday morning that turned into a beach hike over multiple terrains...marshy, sandy, cliff and rock climbing, etc. etc. The day delivered just spectacular weather as a Mother's Day present for a beach loving girl like me! There were so many beautiful moments I decided to share them...

We had stretches where the only way to move was over massive boulders used as breakfronts. It is difficult to tell from the picture but these were massive and uneven...horizontal rock climbing at it's best for long stretches of coastline!

To give you an idea of  the scale of the boulders as we got back to sandy beaches...

I loved the wild flowers that popped up from the sand in variations of pink and white...

I just loved this...what a clever way to get passengers and beach toys from your house down the steep ravine with this cart and track...

This butterfly cooperated with a long pose...

I loved this Y branch which saluted the perfect day with a big Y for YES!!

I found a beautiful piece of driftwood that I brought home...still deciding where to put it!

and when I returned home the first rose appeared on my shrub rose bushes as a Mother's Day suprise!

Have a wonderful week!!
