Better Homes and Gardens...Christmas 2013 issue

As many of you may remember Better Homes and Gardens visited last January to capture Christmas "Rue de Emily" style... well, I saw the issue for the first time today and I thought I would share some of the pictures for those of you who don't subscribe to BH&G. (please excuse the pics taken of the magazine with my iPhone...not the best quality...but you get the idea)

If you are interested in a behind the scenes look at the shoot click here and here.

This photograph is in the front of the magazine... separated from the rest of the piece on my holiday fun. This was one of my favorite images from the shoot.

...and here is how the story goes....

I must thank everyone who worked so hard to make these wonderful pictures that we will treasure as great memories of our family's favorite time of year....

(Merci': Hilary Rose, Producer, Werner Straube Photography, Writtten by: Sally FInder Weepie)

Many of the pictures didn't make the final cut of this issue... which often happens....click here to see photos from the shoot that didn't make the issue.

P.S. BH&G did a split run with this issue. My article appears in the subscriber copies that go to 1 million + (so you might find one somewhere) not the issue sent to newsstands. That one has the first image but not the rest. I guess my hot pink and teal Christmas was too much for some areas of the country...lol.

P.S. For more "behind the scenes" from the shoot click here!

                                                                    XO Emily

    1. So sorry just saw this inquiry...my advice would be to do what you love...and share what you love with others..eventually someone knows someone who will want to know more and they will find you! on the other hand- you can self promote- marketing yourself never hurts either if done in the right way. If you have something to publish find a venue! Good luck!
