My Garden...in May...Part One.

My Garden is my sanctuary and my canvas....it is one of the places I look forward to spending as much time in as I can....here is a little tour of some of the areas at the beginning of the Season...I will blog throughout the Summer as Mother Nature does her thing....

Different angles of the patio where we live outside in the warm months...

This bench overlooks our koi pond (which I will feature in tomorrow's post). We often sit here and watch them...very relaxing...almost meditative. Climbing rose, hydrangeas, honeysuckle and three different types of clematis all bloom at different times on the arbor and fence.

The scents right now are amazing from the lilacs that surround the patio...

I found this stump this Winter in a local park and decided to paint it with an outdoor paint and seal it for a fun Nature inspired side table.
Our outdoor dinging room  and in the distance you can see our Art Studio/ Winter storage structure.

I always love decorating a hearth....

I planted Jasmine within the chandelier because the smell is intoxicating especially in the evening...it always reminds me of living in California where it is plentiful....
and the chandelier at night....

stay tuned for more tomorrow.....
