Kuhl-Linscomb is KOOL!

On my recent trip Houston I was told by a  "native in the know" that a must stop was at a design emporium made up of a series of separate buildings that house a wonderful assortment of "goodies"...aka...Kuhl-Linscomb!

 The randomly stationed buildings are all numbered for easy access and recognition....example above! As the store grew the owner just kept buying neighboring buildings creating a "design compound" at this point!


Here's an assortment of the fun stuff  that caught my eye as I wondered through each building...I had to move quickly as I was on a time crunch...but on my next visit I plan to LINGER!

The bedding and bath selections were vast (and casually presented)!

So much to look at in each building one really needs TIME to concentrate on it all...

Then of course I had to make a stop at the Goode Company Barbecue joint just down the street...

When in Rome .....Houston...one must eat like the locals...I did cheat a little and go with the chicken barbecue...instead of pulled pork or brisket...(just can't go there I'm afraid)

I must say it was delicious...especially the white bread...what a cheat/treat!! Happy Monday!!
