A Home's Must Haves....

Like many of you....I love many styles of home architecture as well as decorating schemes. I like blending different design elements depending on what the setting/space inspires or maybe dictates.

As I get older ...there are... however... certain facets of a home that are essential in making it interesting and comfortable enough for me to call it "home"....here is my list....

A FABULOUS BED WITH PREFERABLY WHITE (hi-thread count cotton) SHEETS!

OUTDOOR SPACES, EASILY ACCESSIBLE THAT OPERATE AS FUNCTIONAL ROOMS!

MOLDINGS, INTERESTING TRIMS..etc. (it's all in the details)!

INTERESTING VIGNETTES (in usually forgotten spaces) AND GREAT LIGHTING (I happen to own the light in this picture...) MIRRORS are also essential to bring light into a space!

WONDERFUL NATURAL LIGHT and FABULOUS WINDOWS (with preferably interesting views)!

OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE HOME TO MERCHANDISE WITH FOUND TREASURES!

POPS OF FAVORITE COLORS EVERYWHERE...(in meaningful places)!

A GREAT BATHROOM (with a fab tub and shower)...AT LEAST ONE!

GALLERY WALLS...(preferably with a mix of meaningful and personal photos and artwork) and while we are on this photo a GREAT LOOKING WHITE SOFA is always a great base for a room!

AN INTERESTING AND FUNCTIONAL KITCHEN!

A WORKING FIREPLACE AND COZY SNUGGLE SPOTS!
