I found two mirrors that I blogged about months ago. Click here for that post.
When I initially painted them gold I knew they needed more detail which I knew I would get to when the weather got warm enough to paint them outside. Well that day arrived...here is the before...
and now the after! I love creating a fun faux finish when it can really improve something. The reason I chose this color is that the wall needed more "POP" and I wanted to create one more touch of the blue color that dances around the room...
Before....nice but too "one note"...
After....a little more interesting in my opinion...adds another layer in the room...
and I like that you see the hint of blue to come in the adjoining family room....
and for those of you who saw my recent post on our new "room" in the garden...I played around with adding more blue plates...in this case I think more is MORE!
I have been in such a "nesting" phase these days...but now I think I ready for a "resting" phase all Summer long....but most people who know me know better...I am sure the next project is just around the corner!
FABULOUS....LOVE THE BLUE....GENIUS!!!
ReplyDeleteTruly awesome!!!! AMAZING...
So, do you think I really like (love) what you did...??
Outside too.
When you change...you will be evolving...That's what I say...I am evolving...
Thanks Patty! I agree...constantly evolving...much nicer way to explain it!
