I want to introduce you to my new best friend! She is very petite but packs a lot of fun in her little frame! I adore her!!
But first a little back story on how we met....you see this Summer I tore my meniscus in my knee (which is a fancy way of saying...no more boot camps, runs, TRXing for me for awhile).
While the Summer was here and I could swim and bike outdoors all was still well...but as the weather got colder and I knew that I would be forced inside for exercise... I began Pilates and strength training but I would have to get in the pool sometimes for cardio...(after all how many times a week can you really bike on a stationary bike without going mad?)
The first time I tried to do laps I knew I was in trouble...yes I could swim...;) ... but there isn't anything more boring than back and forth for an hour in a lap pool! (I now have a lot of sympathy for any pool enclosed animal)...
Miraculously a woman appeared soon after my despair set in wearing an Ipod Shuffle that is completely waterproof with earplugs that stay in place and are made especially for swimming... I ordered from a company that provides it all.....
Underwater Audio is the place!
Now I can swim for hours...there is nothing like swimming to your favorite tunes..... I look like this...
but feel like this....
