Christmas is in the House! Part One...

Right after Thanksgiving...I launch the Christmas season in my spaces! First- I love it and I really like the mood it puts me in...and secondly, since it is so much work...I want to enjoy it for a solid four weeks before taking it all down on New Year's Day.

Every year I change it up a bit...always moving the tree and doing a twist with the decorations to mix things up...it is always a process that just flows as I unpack the bins...here's this years visual diary...

My helpers came by so I served them breakfast as I put them to work....

As the mother of two...I just love these oversized gingerbread twosome...they put a smile on my face and take center stage on the tree!

White hydrangeas just are a Winter staple for me around my maison...

It was fun to decorate my newly painted and redecorated nooks this year...

the other side...

This might be my favorite mantle in all the years...I saved my dried cockscomb and added to it with fresh pink carnations and green berries...

I hope you are getting into the holiday spirit...Click here to see the continuation my Christmas story next week!

                                    XO Emily
