Living Room Holiday Flair...

Here's a little tour of how our living room "rolls" this holiday season...the furniture rearrangement from last year does wonders for the space...

This is how the space looked last year during the holidays...

I brought some faux greenery in from outside instead of putting it in storage for the Winter...

I added a blue bow to each one and some bling for nighttime fun...

The long bench became great storage for all the items I removed from other places...I threw in a few ornaments and all is well...

My design partner and I found these chairs curbside earlier this year...we painted and reupholstered them (there are a set of two on either side of the fireplace).  We took them away from our booth for a bit so I decided to use them but I might not be able to part with them now...

The white table is a great backdrop for lots of color!

My gold lion necklace seems to move around the space...he makes me laugh!

A cozy place to sit during the Winter months...I LOVE this velvet tie-dyed pillow especially during the holidays...

I bring on the bling by adding vintage earrings to ribbons around the room...

This year instead of a wreath I added a " flea market found" cross that I painted gold and adorned it with more ornaments for added oomph! I also added some pink Mardi Gras beads around the base of my lit trees.

Window bling...

I took a lamp that I had upstairs and added pink ribbon just for the holidays that I can remove later
using my favorite invention...

ZOTS (removable adhesive dots in varying size available at PAPER SOURCE)

Here are some evening images...

being in this room after the sun goes down is one of my favorite places to "hang" during the holidays...

It has begun to snow today so things are looking really festive and pretty! Happy Holidays! Have a great week...I will post a few more rooms as we move through the week!
