Winding Up at Wisma's...

I love to share favorite "haunts". One of my faves for lunch is a little place called Wisma's on the North Shore of Chicago...they have three locations in the Chicago area but I like this one since it's in an area I frequent...



Wisma means “home” and what they do is sell fully prepared meals for people to eat at home. They make everything in their store every day from scratch.  All of their cuisine is fully cooked, packaged, and ready for people to take home or enjoy in one of their "stores"...which is what I like to do...either when taking a break from a long ride on the bike trail nearby or just doing errands in the area.



They also sell wine and every single bottle they offer is open every day so you can try them before buying. In addition, they sell many types of small craft beers...I personally like to indulge in
one of their great sandwiches with a cappucino.... and the cute and cozy atmosphere....

I am getting hungry just putting this post together...I see a trip in the near future!
