MyTalented Girlfriends Set Their Tables!

Thanksgiving Table ideas from my fabulous friends....

My dear girlfriends Mademoiselle "S and D" from The Style Shack were television stars again this week! They were on a Chicago morning program illustrating ideas for holiday table decorating. Click here to watch them in action!

My other fave girlfriend... Mademoiselle M... already set her table for Thanksgiving and since I will be there for dessert on Thanksgiving Day and the table will have already seen most of it's action I wanted to share some of it's loveliness prior.

Can I just say I am crazy for her dining room...those custom pink mohair chairs make me swoon...

I like the way she used classic, vintage and mod elements to adorn her table....and she likes to go a little "rogue" with how she places her silverware....

I found these gold ornaments for a little holiday bling for her and she cleverly used them on her place settings...

I am just crazy for these necklaces that her Mom brought back from a recent trip to Istanbul. She has displayed them beautifully in her dining room hanging from wall sconces....

... my dear friend Mademoiselle J also set a wonderful table for an impromptu  birthday breakfast earlier this week for moi...(Merci' Mon Ami). The table wasn't set for Thanksgiving but it could easily be adapted for a holiday table...

she put these delightful centerpieces together quickly using her talents and her wonderful collection of milk glass...

Delicious starters...fruit and yogurt parfaits...

My birthday flourless chocolate cake!
and of course a little bubbly to toast the morning with mimosas....

and last but not least...and I don't have pictures to illustrate (shame on me because it was lovely)...but my talented friend Beth....who owns a spectacular restaurant In The Raw hosted another impromptu private party for a few of us last night that was sublime!

I just love all these last minute get-togethers...it is usually how us busy girls roll!

Can you imagine.... she can make a stuffing and pecan pie... all with healthy ingredients... that is not "cooked"  and that tastes simply divine and very similiar to the flavors of these holiday standards? I will feature her restaurant in a future post.

Don't I have talented friends? Lucky me!
