Camp Rosemary...Day Two

Welcome to Day Two at magnificent Camp Rosemary....if you missed the first day please click here to begin!

I wanted to take you on a little tour of the 11 acre property as we begin our week....

Can you imagine the floral arrangements that can be created from these cutting gardens?

I can't wait to take you inside this magnificent space...

The white garden has static rectangular reflecting pools that are quietly elegant...

The lush and vibrant variations of green throughout the garden take my breath away....

Simple and classic...

Very wide steps of lawn with brick trim navigate changes in elevation brilliantly!

Everyone who knows me knows that I am crazy for round boxwood...okay...really boxwood in any form...but this gigantic ball of boxwood is just fabulous!

As we move into another garden space...

a little closer to another fabulous structure I will feature later this week...

As you wander outside the walled gardens against a backdrop of a majestic ravine you stumble upon treasure after treasure...

I love that a random dead tree branch was left and decorative grasses planted circularly around it to feature it as a sculpture done by nature!

Looking into the ravine that drops very steeply...

more ingenious plantings that capture the "naturalness" of the ravine walk....

I loved this gate that really leads nowhere...but is fabulous in this setting...

antique seating arrangements were left for nature to embrace...

and around the corner within another little opening this lovely statue commands attention!

See you tomorrow! The sun will be shining so it should be a great day at Camp! Click here for Day Three!

  1. These images are gorgeous and leave me wishing I had a green thumb. I have found the need for the boxwood. That is probably as close as I am going to get ... but Camp is inspiring!! xo
